Héctor

Light as language. An invitation to look inside. Black stoneware, interior full of nuances. A wax-burnished skin. Héctor: a threshold. Matter, light, and gaze.

Héctor belongs to the Cadaqués Collection, where light is not a function but a language. A light that reveals interiority, inviting the viewer to come closer and look inside, awakening curiosity and the desire to discover. Made in black stoneware with coarse chamotte, its interior reveals a landscape full of nuances. The exterior, burnished with wax, acquires a skin-like texture: a living, shifting surface that responds subtly to light. Héctor is a threshold: an object that not only occupies space but proposes an intimate experience between matter, light, and gaze.

Unique piece · Cadaqués Collection

Tramontana is a unique piece from the Cadaqués Collection. It explores the notion of interiority and belonging through the tension between matter and void, containment and openness. Conceived through a slow and attentive process, the work preserves the traces of making as part of its language, activating an interior landscape rather than a specific geography.

COLLECTION

The piece is part of the private collection of Alex Carl, in her London residence. Alex Carl is a stylist and collector linked to the worlds of fashion and design. Her perspective combines contemporary sensitivity with objects imbued with memory, establishing dialogues between heritage, design, and artistic work.
